CA Smittybilt CN15-S4B steps - Suburban

My '91 Suburban turned into a project truck and with four other project cars around I don't have time, money, or space for that, its '03 GMT800 replacement is in the driveway now and the better bits of this one (along with stuff I've accumulated for reasons I've now forgotten) have to go.

For sale: one set Smittybilt CN15-S4B steps. Black powdercoat finish. Smittybilt catalogs them as being for '73-91 1/2-ton Subs.

About five years old, never used, stored outdoors but covered for the past year or so, they're dusty and have cobwebs but they're not rusty.

Good-to-very-good driver condition: one has a couple small dings/abrasions in the powdercoat at one end, the other had a very small abrasion. See the pictures for details.

Yes, shipping is potentially a problem.

It ends up either one box approx 74x22x10 (stacked and bolted together) and 38lb, or two boxes approx 20lb each and 74x22x6 (shipped separately.)

Either approach comes out around $130 (1x$130 or 2x$65) by Fedex Ground.

I've never done it, but in the past it's been suggested to me that Greyhound is the most economical way to ship bulky-but-not-too-heavy stuff, they're quoting $75 on a space-available basis and four days depot-to-depot.

I can get it to the depot at this end but you'd have to pick it up at a Greyhound depot at your end. I used Allentown for the quote but you can go to shipgreyhound.com and figure out if there's something closer.

Not sure if you had a UPS store near you ... could just duct tape some carboard over the plastic step areas to keep them from getting damaged , I'm not really worried about scratches there going to get painted .
I don't think I would want to spend more than $160 shipped to be honest .

You have a PM regarding price and shipping options, let me know if that works for you.

UPS is a couple bucks more than Fedex Ground, it's the length of the package (whether bundled or boxed) that costs and there's not much that can be done about that.
