Cool Change starter help a novice, please

I need to have autozone check the starter, can anyone give me a quick walkthru of taking a starter of 305v8 dual pipes. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Special tools? I have a socket set. Precautions? Besides batt disconnect?

Be careful not to overtorque the nut on the solenoid studs - those studs break of easily.
