Trucks shipped back to Texas
We'll I'm finally retiring from the USAF. I'm moving back to Texas. So today the truck came to ship both of my trucks. It wasn't cheap, but it's easier than driving both of them. I'm just glad the govt moves all my other stuff for free.

Re: Trucks shipped back to Texas
Thanks everyone. I'm not going to lie, but 21 years went fast. I've traveled all over and met alot of lifetime new friends. To me, it was worth all the deployments and being away from home. Now I have to get used to the Texas heat. I need a/c for my 71. Maybe I can get hired on with Vintage air. I think I'll put in a resume with them.

Re: Trucks shipped back to Texas
Not being married has something to do with it. Even better is that both are paid for.

Re: Trucks shipped back to Texas
Welcome home man, and yes its HOT! I have a budy in the AF. He's been in for 16 yrs now. Talked with him yesterday and he's headed for Cali for a month and then to Afganistan. He flies the big Planes. He taught new pilots in Colorado for the last few years, you may know him last Name Ascol, not sure of his rank. Anyway enjoy your time off.

Re: Trucks shipped back to Texas
We'll I made it to Texas. Staying the night in Ft Stockton until the morning. I thought I was in Iraq. Hit a big sand storm and it was hot. Nice thing was no mortars! lol Head on to San Antonio in morning and my trucks should be here on Monday. First thing is wash them both. I'm sure they'll be real dirty. Thanks for all the comments.
