Torque specs on lowering kit hardware
Ok guys. Im in the middle of reinstalling the components on my drop kit and there's no torque specs for anything. I need to know torque specs for u bolt bolts and hanger/perch bolts. Also. New shocks the bushings for top of shock will not bolt will not go through bushings and bottom bolt is too long. Confusing and irritating!!!!!!

Re: Torque specs on lowering kit hardware
Im in the middle of a lowering kit install myself, and funny as it be, Im actually trying to get the U-bolts off the front lower control arms (changing out ball joints). Them suckers are on there pretty tight, so without sounding too sarcastic, Im gonna go with F'in TIGHT for a torque spec on them U-bolts. For what its worth, Ive been taking lots of pics and documenting and plan to upload and share once its complete

Re: Torque specs on lowering kit hardware
ok, i found a chiltons and bought that up....rear u bolts are 150 ft lbs.
However with these shocks.......we still have not found ANY way to make these shocks work, the rubber bushigng with metal sleeve is not big enough to fit the bolt through no matter what. do you need to remove that sleeve and run with JUST the busing and bolt with no sleeve? that seems like it might be a loose fit but thats the ONLY way i can see right now itll work! Front shocks still have no hardware
