new headlight switch...is it hard to install?

I need to replace the headlight switch on my 94 burb....how much tearing apart of the dash is required? The switch I currently have is bad. I was able to get the lights on by going half way and some times 3/4 of the way.

1. put trans in L1
2. tilt steering wheel down
3. remove the 4 torx screws around the instrument bezel
4. pull bezel loose at these clips

^^^Looks like someone's a little low in the fuel area haha. Its a very easy install. basically if you can work a screwdriver you can change the switch.

Hey that gas gauge looks just like mine always on empty haha! Ya replacing in the switch is easy just pull the trim on gauge cluster and pry and pull out gently. Unbolt your other one and put new one in. Good idea to disconnect the power just in case.

Re: new headlight switch...is it hard to install?

To save time and pain use a 15 MM socket and loosen the two nuts on the steering wheel bracket and swing it down to clear the instrument panel. ALSO the plastic on the panel will probably be brittle and jsut break when you try to loosen the screws. I had to go and get a new panel to replace mine when the headlight switch went bad.
