Rear bumper question

Hi does anyone know if there is a difference in the rear bumper for a step side or a fleetside bed of a 67-72 truck? I assume there is but was not sure found a deal on a step side bumper but I have a fleetside truck so I was wondering. Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear bumper question

Step side bumper is shorter. As far as I know, which means it won't go all the way to your sides.

Re: Rear bumper question

I have one of each (a fleetside and a stepside), in my case the step side bumper is shorter and the ends are curved forwards. My fleetside bumper is "flat" on the front end where it meets the bedside and is a little longer I believe, but I have never measured them.

Hope this helps...

Stepside

Fleetside
