Grille swapping guidlines?

Recently picked up a 67 C10 with a demolished front grille. After scouring the junkyards and online I can only seem to find ads for 69-72 front grilles. Will these years also swap?

I can retain the core support and the fenders for use on a 69-72 grille if that is needed.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Re: Grille swapping guidlines?

The only direct bolt in with your core support is a 67-68 Chevy grill, if you get a 69-72 grill you will also need the fenders, core support, hood latch, grill support and hood

Re: Grille swapping guidlines?

Awesome.

So are there any sources for aftermarket billet grilles or am I stuck trying to hunt down a 67-68 on the cheaps?

I guess they are the hot swap now because when I can find them they seem to be going for way more than reasonable.

Re: Grille swapping guidlines?

Grilles for these trucks aren't cheap. Regardless of the year. But there are lots of companies selling aftermarket grilles. Some of them are vendors here on this forum.
