i called CPP before about doing the 5.5/7 drop for my burb. they told me that the lowest i could go in the rear regarding the springs was a 4" spring because of the weight. they said that it would drop the rear about 5". I think you could probably go with a 5" spring and just do a simple c-notch. CPP does offer the best price on their pre built c-notch at $100. this is what i am going to do for the rear of my 70 burb. i have 3" springs on the front but i plan on doing disc brakes and dropped spindles cuz i want my burb in the weeds. Holla if you got any more questions. I have had my burb for about 2 years and i have learned a lot during this time. If you live at hideaway lake, then you are not that far from me. maybe someday soon we will both have these burbs running and looking right. i plan on taking my burb to the show in canton on october 8-9.
