Where to buy tripod mirrors?

I am looking for new mirrors for my 71. I currently have the square sport style. I am looking for a tripod style, something that will be more usable. I see LMC has them but they look cheap. Where else can I pick a set up?

Re: Where to buy tripod mirrors?

Other than what has been mentioned, some of the major parts stores have them, I know I've seen them at Advance and Auto Zone. Although they won't be "new" you might wanna look at the parts board on here. There's several guys on there parting out trucks and some of them may have some. I just bought a pair off there about 3 weeks ago, and they were factory ones not aftermarket. Mine were the painted version, but I've seen some stainless ones for sale too.

Re: Where to buy tripod mirrors?

a trailer or RV supplier should have good quality new ones also a boat supply store should also

tho they won't b exactly like the originals these places usually will have higher quality units than the bigbox autoparts stores

Re: Where to buy tripod mirrors?

Just saw some pretty decent ones on a 71 or 72 in my favorite local junkyard here in Wisconsin. Would be nice with a bit of work.
