I dug out some columns I picked up some years ago and not sure what I have. I have pics of two auto columns. The green one I believe to be from a 71. Notice the round black hazard switch and straight harness connector. The bearings are bad and shifter is siezed.
The blue one looks to be an earlier model. Notice the slim red hazard switch and round harness connector.
Is the green one from a van maybe? Although it doesn't have the extra length steering shaft. It has the 17" wheel and 9" shift handle.
Both of these have the 3 speed auto detent plate.
I am heading to buy some new parts to fix one of these for my 69.
Isn't there supposed to be a big spring in the lower end to keep the shaft pulled down in there snug? Thanks for your help.

There is a tension spring and a large washer that goes on the end of the shaft and seats against the coupler.

They're both truck columns, the green one has probably just had the turn signal switch replaced.
