Shock Mount Spacer?
I am in the process of getting my Blazer put back together and just put new shocks on. When I put the fronts in there seemed to be a part missing and sure enough when I went back through the pics of the before pictures there seems to be a spacer or bushing that allows you to tighten the upper shock bolt without bending the frame mount.
Does anyone know where to get these? I seem to have misplaced mine and can't find them online... |

No one posted yet but I did find this site that offers aluminum spacers that I think should fit the bill...thoughts?

Did you get your shocks with a lift kit? I can't imagine Rancho would throw in these spacers with every person who buys shocks because not every application needs the spacer...
I could try to give them a call, however. Anyone else with advice? |

Thats just a shock mount stud which has the spacer built in. Most auto parts stores carry them or try speed way motors. They have a good selection.

I am not sure if that would work... When I took the shock off there was a bolt used on the upper mount, not a stud. I would need to look at the back side of the frame to see if the stud end would "catch" on anything so that when you tighten the nut it doesn't just rotate. |

My mistake. It is a bolt with a bracket and a spacer. Sorry that wasn't much help.
