Gas Mileage question
I have a 2007 silverado classic with a V6 5spd manuel. Im only getting about 22mpg highway and 18-19 city. Is that what this truck should be getting or should I be getting more. I was thinking of puting a chip in it but was wondering if it would make alot of difference.
Thanks for the help. |

Re: Gas Mileage question
Thats doing pretty good! Just think how much weight and air that little motor is pushing.

Re: Gas Mileage question
Maybe a little, but can't be much. I'd guess .5-1mpg maybe.

Re: Gas Mileage question
Intake and exhaust would help out too, also check tire pressure (higher pressure=lower rolling resistance). These will all be small gains, but they add up.
