It's a curiosity, a museum piece and well done especially for 1939 but who'd want to own it...much less a truck, 60-66 or any? Even for a very talented DIY'er it would cost a fortune to build and then for your efforts people would say, "Oh wow that's niiice, see 'ya!"

I don't get it... cars are pretty ugly on the inside. Plus there isn't really some crazy magical piece no one has ever been able to see before hidden somewhere. seems like a giant waist of time. IMO

I always found the car extremely interesting, particularly that it survived for so long with relatively little damage. Amazing what GM could dream up back when they were on top of the world. I still have a magazine from about 30 years ago which featured the same car.

I bet that thing squeaks like mad. I had a plexi woofer box back in 1993 when it was the cool thing to do and it squeaked like a angry squirrel.
