opinions on ditributor-less ignition sytems for 350
i am thinking about going with a distributor-less ignition system for my , TBI 350, anyone have any experience with these ? brand preference?

I am intrested, I have a LT1 intake I would love to strap onto my old small block b/c LT1's use the opti-spark stuff...

COMPU-TRONIX..was the one i found , it is $600, i was hoping maybe someone else was making a more affordable option !!

This is a ford ignition system that I was reading about.
http://www.boostengineering.net/product_p/edis8kit.htm From what I understand you can use it on a chevy but you have to make a new crank sensor wheel and pickup mount. The only thing I don't like about it at first glance is there is no cam position sensor, so it fires 2 plugs at the same time (they call it a waisted spark). I obviously worked b/c from what I can tell ford used the heck out of it...
