Dumb Question Regarding Dealer Roll Bar

Were Dealer installed roll bars Hickeys? Also were they a 3 piece roll bar, meaning they could be unbolted into three pieces or were they welded together as a single unit? Thanks Wayne

Re: Dumb Question Regarding Dealer Roll Bar

When I bought my K5 it had a 4point behind the driver roll bar, one piece. The dude I got it from was told it was dealer installed option. My buddy had a SmittyBuilt (I think that was the name, been awhile) bolt together 4point in his..we both now have custom cages as thoes 4point ones are...not up to task...

Re: Dumb Question Regarding Dealer Roll Bar

I believe (from the pictures you posted the other day) your roll bar is a SmittyBuilt. The dealer roll bars were not as big a diameter and the rear kick back legs didn't go back as far. I believe that some of them were Hickey, but not all.
