OK so this was a I was bored and decided to play around day. I purchased some wheels off craigslist and wanted to see what ride height was gonna look like when i get some weight on the front end of the truck so the engine is basically just to have some weight there. Not what is going to be used.

Some more updates. Got the motor that is going to be used in the truck. Again it is sitting in place but mount still need to be welded on and lines ran etc.. [IMG][/IMG]













Got the front end from storage and now mock-up begins to get fun

realy like those trucks , i have a couple of newer trucks but would trade them in for one of those in good condition

i got a job again and having fun at it too

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

This one my mom and dad bought me for a graduation present. And my grandfather taught me to drive a 57 GMC. So they have always been my favorite as

there was a build of an metalic orange 57 on this forum somewhere , its "done" now but oh wat a beauty that is , there where some problems with the first paintshop another painter took over and realy done a good job on it , lotsah chrome in the enginebay the timeless aloy american racingwheels under there its just a great truck

Think you mean cal's 58 gmc and yes that truck is gorgeous. Used it for inspiration when i get discouraged.
