I can conferm that, and currently have that combo setting in my trans rack rite now too, outa my 85 from when I swapped to a sm 465/np205 twin stick, the output shaft is about 12 inches long in the trans with that setup and has no shaft coller like the sm465/np205 uses, advance adapters may have something for the conversion but I just recomend scrapyarding it, a trans/t-case combo may be cheeper than the adapters. or atleast the proper trans and adapter that goes between them anyway.
