todays Tulsa, Ok Craigslist finds
here is my first attempt at this:
http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/2429338741.html I just went and looked at this 60 model, it is nice, was painted 7 years ago, needs bed wood, the bottom of the doors are bubbling, the seat needs to be rebuilt but on the whole it is a nice truck. Call me if you want more info. I do not know this gentleman just thought I might post this for our Northe east friends who can,t find a pretty rust free truck. (this one runs and drives although I did not drive it or start it. Kieth 918-446-2245 i will go back and get more pictures and ride and drive it for anyone who is interested. Looks pretty good in the pictures. Is $5,000 really what a truck like that should go for? Dang--maybe I need to take out a craigslist ad!

Re: todays Tulsa, Ok Craigslist finds
After almost finishing my truck I now know what it costs to redo one of these trucks. Man it is expensive, the body work is torture and just having a really good base to work on makes a lot of difference. This little truck could be a great daily driver without much effort, while others would not look nearly as nice and would be much more expensive to repair than this one. JMO Kieth
I think this needs to be done to this truck now, and it really does not cost much to do. 1. rebuild the front seat structure cover is fine. 2. install new rubber on door glass and wing vent, and door seals 3. clean all door drains and side vent drains. 4. After driving evaluate the handling brakes etc. (tires are new) 5. replace bed wood, repaint bed hardware...cost 56.00 for #2pine locally, cut to proper width and shape) paint black 6. repair and repaint the door at the bottom edge......one would have a nice driver that is quite original. I concur with Keith. If the truck is as solid as it looks, it's worth the 5k.
