Finally got my carb issues fixed!

Well, I got a carb from a friend of mine (a q-jet off of a '73 oldsmobile 350)
That had been rebuilt. There were a few modifications, different throttle linkage, different fuel inlet, vacuum hose routing) but after getting it all bolted up, it idles great! I still don't understand why my original
Carb won't idle, but this one does just fine! It has a slight bog when the secondaries open, but I'll tension up the air valves and fix that. I'm just glad to have my truck running decently! Now I get to go to the DMV and get a plate for it!
