I have used testors gloss black model paint. I thinned the paint about 25% and brushed it into the the recessed areas. Came out great.

It is soooooo easy.. I just spray the whole emblem with Semi flat Krylon and then take a rag with thinner and wipe the high spots while its still a bit tacky and they look as good as new!

Ive been doing it for years. It makes a really ugly one look new. Steel wool on it before you spraysometimes takes the pits away on some of the older weathered ones

I think I have several for hoods and just 1 or 2 for grills. I was gust going through box #2 looking for the G on the GMC hood lettering for a 72 GMC. I know its here somewhere. I will be making a complete inventory asap and then I will post pictures and prices. I know I have a few front driveshafts somewhere

I hand-painted mine with enamel model paint. I actually enjoyed the experience. But they aren't going back on the truck until the whole thing gets painted.

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.

i used masking tape to cover the whole thing and then i cut out the area that needed to paint and shot it with a spray can.
