Kingsman 500 Car Show in Orting, WA (pics)
I had my '72 GMC 1500 Super Custom in the car show at Orting, WA (my hometown) this weekend. Even with the crappy weather there was a good turn out of cars and trucks. I was suprised at how many 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks were there. Pretty cool. Hopin' some belong to members here. If one of these trucks is yours... holler! There were some very nice trucks there this weekend.
It rained, and rained, and then rained some more. I went on the poker run, and my truck was a mess by the time I got to where the show was. A lot of rods participated in the poker run. So it was cool to see rigs that were a lot nicer than mine with a little road grime on them. No trailer queens as far as I could tell... The top pic of the awesome 1972 GMC 4X4 has my dad peering under the hood. He has a 1970 Chevy C10 and wants to know what headers this person is running. The truck pictured has a 4 speed and so does my dad's '70. So we're hoping the owner is a member here. Gary
