Re: Anyone see this on on ebay?

That's how they build 'em in Jersey......
flamin' hot, wide whites and leopard skin underneath.
Wonder if those are aftermarket high visibility headlights or if they are factory stock style

I am diggin' the purple with blue flames. Not the way I would have laid them out, but the colors & concept are cool. I have a question though. Why spend all the time that they did on exterior & interior but then do nothing under the hood or in the bed. Looks great on the outside & interior, but put plywood in the bed? And, listing it on e-bay with out detailing the engine bay a little. If the attention spent had been a little more spread out this truck would be a lot more "well rounded".

He kind of addressed that in the "text" of the advertisement:
I believe in making a vehicle nice but not over the top and never drive it. The bed is plywood not a fancy oak bed that you never use. I use it as a pick up!
You gotta wonder though how much weight you could really haul with it though? Appears to be a pretty severe static drop (no mention of bags). Put much weight in it and it would be on the bumpstops.

When you start comparing though this one seems like a much better investment: http://www.harwellmotors.com/muscle-...5B110471/9.jpg

Re: Anyone see this on on ebay?

I saw it, and thought it was overpriced. Looks nice, but I can't figure out what makes the BIN price so high. (?)

- And I'm being completely polite / respectful, this is a question borne of my ignorance.

Re: Anyone see this on on ebay?

I was kinda wondering why it was BIN for S10,500. I realize that the power steering and upgraded front suspension and brakes add a bunch, but that much? Nice rig tho....

I would call that "over the top"...those headlights!...those bumpers!...and what a tailgate!!...the truck however is not for me.

Re: Anyone see this on on ebay?

the thing about painting a truck like that and or doing interiors like that one is you shrink your pool of buyers tremendously. If he did a good to great job on the core of the work, then the other stuff can be redone to the new owners liking.

Re: Anyone see this on on ebay?

I sometimes think we are our own worst enemy, If one has ever built one of these trucks they know how much time goes in to one. Yet when someone asks $10,500 for a truck we think it is too much. Figure your labor at $25.00 per hour and see how much plus the parts you have in your truck.....it will scare the dog out of you.......I know it did me. Just think how rare a rust free truck is in New Jersey......man I bought a suburban out of lawrence Kansas and it was completely rust out, cannot imagine one from the East Coast.........We need to value our trucks a lot higher, If we do not think they are worth much they never will be worth much.......Kieth
