wierd thought- rear suspension coil setup
I was thinkin. would our truck not handle better if the coils sat outside the trailing arms, closer to the axles with a inward tilts kinds like "/" <--saying this would be the left coil?

no because the way the bushings are in the trailing arms they go up and down

Alexis, I've got a magazine at home where they removed the coils and shocks and put coil overs behind the axle. If you want I'll mail the book to you. It's a cool setup.

The farther the shock (coilover) is tilted away from being perpendicular to the ground, the less effective it is at damping.
