After 2 1/2 years I finally got around to putting Bilsteins on the 69er to replace the worn out Rancho shocks.
The rears did not have the steel sleeves in the rubber bushings so I took the ones off the old Rancho shocks and had to use a little persuasion to get them in.
I took the truck for a quick ride around town and was happy with the nice firm ride.

Very nice. What made you choose Bilstein over another brand? I've run them on a couple different vehicles. Loved them on my wife's Nissan Armada but didn't so much on my commuter Altima. I'm looking for something on the front of my 78 C20 big block.

Not any particular reason, I've just heard a lot of good things about them.
So far I'm very happy with them.
