"RATIKLE" is in the Shop once again.

This time having the exhaust re-routed in the Frame,
for about 4" MORE of clearance.

Went by today and they had the Drivers Side "Mocked-Up".

The Electric Exhaust Cut-Out, would have exited right at the underside of the Cab (at the back of the Door), so instead of gassing me to death,
they put an extension pipe to exit it in FRONT of the Rear Tire.

After they do the Passenger side, then they'll take it out and Weld it,
then ship it out to be Jet Coated.
Also found out while it was up on the stand,
that the P.O. had put CPP "Rear Shock Relocaters" on it also!

Just a question but is that shock on upside down ? I have never seen them mounted on anything that way. Is there an advantage to mounting them like that ?

I have seen then mouted that way and the don't work long like that unless they are designed for it. the valving for shock wont work right.

All I know is that I bought a Shock/Lowering Spring kit from CPP and those are,
(according to them) are Nitrogen filled Custom Length Shocks".
My mechanic up North installed them.

I would try and look up some specs on the shocks and make sure the valving will work right in that position and change it if needed. My mechanic has made misstakes befor. It was on his own 4x4 truck.He installed some Rancho shocks on the frontend upside down, the way yours look. The valves were not getting the oil flow through them and wouldn't dampen the bumps as designed, Safty first!!

If those are doestch tech shocks which is what I'm pretty sure CPP uses then it is mounted upside down. Doestch tech specifies on there website that the rod must be mounted in the up position always.

At this point, I've got so much other crap going on im my Life that the Shock Position is the LEAST of my worries.
The Truck has ridden fine for the past 2 years.
If they start leaking, I'll replace them band be sure my NEW MECHANIC, installs them corectly.
TI don't live in the area where the original Mechanic did the Spring/Shock work anymore and I have a great respect for the Talent/Caliber of my present Mechanic.

With my Foot screwed up, I was on a "Knee Walker", underneath my Truck and was trying not to trip on any Hoses ect.

I pick it up on Friday.......
