I might be back inline for a silverado!

As many of you know I had a 89 Silverado a while back (got it in aug 10, sold it in march 11 becuase of gas) I got pics in my avatar. But anyway, acouple questions...

1st, theres a 92 Silverado W/T thats been sitting not really moving about a mile or two up the road. Im pretty sure it has a 4.3 (becuase is the W/T). How easy is it to swap for a 5.7?

2nd, How much money am I looking into putting into the swap?

And 3rd, Im a gear head just like the rest of us, so why not a 383 instead of a 350?!?! So how much money will go into building a 383? Im not looking for 500+ hp from it just 300-450 hp.

Im still learning about alot of this, so please be patient. Thanks Brandon

* Side note, I know what has to be done to make a 350 into a 383. And 95% of the work would be done by me and my dad.

If things keep going like they are then no im keeping it haha, I figured computers and stuff. And the 4.3 has NO power compared to the 5.7. Thats why I wanna switch. And I havent got the truck yet, I just was doing a little research before I bought it. Im just kinda pricing everything right now!
