Neither. There's several ways to go for powertrain and it doesn't really matter as much as the rest of the truck it's sitting in. Personally,I don't build trucks for resale value. Their not an investment to me. I build them for their value to me. The only thing I see wrong with choice #1 that will hurt it is the TH350. I love that transmission and know they can be built to take all you can give them. But,in general,it's turn-off to me when I hear BBC/TH350. I can't really explain it,but I'd really have to know a lot about the truck (& trans build) to feel good about that. I like that they rob less HP.
