Before and After Pictures of Stock and Billet Grill

Here are the pics of a billet grill I bought on Ebay for $69 with free shipping. This is a very nice grill and well worth the money I think. I plan on getting the all chrome headlight bezels from LMC in the future and replacing the ones I have now. Here are some pics of before and after. Let me know what you think.

Re: Before and After Pictures of Stock and Billet Grill

both ways look good, get the new bezels in there and re post, they could make or break either look potentially, your stock grille is nicer than any of the ones my squares had, but I have also liked the billets on these for a long time. Nice truck

Re: Before and After Pictures of Stock and Billet Grill

Looks good except for one thing.....the top of the grille on the drivers side is drooped. Not trying to be an ass about it....cause I have the same grille, and the same problem . It's like they welded the bracket on without the top two bars being straight. Counting you and me, I have seen like 6 or 7 with this same problem. Sometime soon I intend on cutting the bracket off and rewelding it in the spot it should be. Also (just like mine) it needs a bowtie in the center.

It looks good, but I like the stock 85-87/88 grilles better.

Re: Before and After Pictures of Stock and Billet Grill

stock. I love the chrome strip, never seen one but I've been thinkin about doing that to my 87 grille, then adding the chrome lmc headlight buckets too. thanks for posting the pic. I'm kinda torn, I love the body color stripe down the center, but I also love chrome.

never been a fan of the tube grilles. I always thought of it as a cheap replacement for a broken grille. I know thats not how others see it. But just looks cheap to me, I very much prefer stock grilles, as long as it's 85-87 and has four headlights.

Like the hood scoop though

I really want to see your stock grill with the chrome center, alongside chrome headlight buckets

Stock grill with the stock hood... IMO you can't go wrong by leaving it stock looking.

I saw a picture of one somewhere and they put a billet bowtie on the grill. I thought about doing that to mine.

I might add that this is not a tube grill. It is a billet grill. I remember the old chrome tube grills. They were ok except they rusted really quick the best I can remember.
