Im working in New Mexico and got these 2 grille's today at lunch at a garage sale. I have absolutely no use for the GMC grill, but would like to know what years they fit. It has black accents around the headlight buckets.
They were real dirty, so I got some dishwashing soap and they cleaned up real nice

As it sits it is a 69 or 70 grille. It will fit all 67-72 GMC's. You have to remove the top bar for it to fit a 67 or 68. It would be incorrect for a 67 as the 67's have GMC stamped in the middle. It would also be incorrect for 71 and 72 as they have a slight indentation in the middle part and that indentation is painted black.
Confused? So right now it is correct for a 69 or 70. Take the top bar off and it is correct for a 68. It will fit all 67-72 GMC's though.

Thanks 71swb4x4 for the detailed info. The seller was moving and wanted $200 for the pair, but I only had interest in the 71-2 grille, so I offered him $100 and to my surprise he accepted, go figure

If there is black accent (I don't see it) then it's a 69/70. '68s didn't have any accent paint (nor that top bar,which was already mentioned).

Northern AZ and I'm in Palm Springs and YOU have no use for the GMC Grill and my Truck needs a new one,
but I don't want to spend $425.00 on a Remanufactored one.

(I'm just sayin)!

I'd really like to know what kind of shape its in, (Dent, Chips, Finish wise)?

Here's some pic's of the black accent's, although faded. The upper bar has a 2 good dents. There's 2 small dings on the grill, both in the center, one up high appears to be a rock ding, the other is lower, real hard to see unless your a couple inches away, but protrudes out, and a some scratches. The finish is real nice for an original. I can only imagine how nice it would shine with a buffing? I took a picture of the backside, and then followed with another after I did a finger rub to show the surface rust is of the wipe-off variety. Im not comfortable trying to take the dings out, for fear of damaging the grill, (no experience)
Anyone have any helpful tips on removing dents/dings
