NOTE: All original but the paint. 86k miles. Need some beefy wheel/tire ideas.

The only things it needs are lowering, and a decent stereo.

I think Cragar S/S wheels would look killer on a square body

Very nice truck. I still like the Rallyes, you could throw some 255/70's or some 275/60's on the Rallye wheels.

If you decide to sell the rally's I'd be interested.

I would put 275-60-15s on those rallies white walls out and call it a day.

man that is a beautiful truck I wouldn't change a thing. When you put a stereo in spend the extra cash and buy a 2 post mp3 unit with a cd changer attachment PLEASE don't cut that beautiful dash.

Re: 1986 C10 Silverado all original...need wheels and tires

Thank you all for the comments, it was my grandfather's truck who died 15 years ago and i'm sure he'd be happy to see it in this shape. I plan on keeping the interior and everything else original. I am just not a big fan of the tire/wheel look. I would like to maybe keep the original wheels if I can get them to hold a set of beefy tires. Is there a to add spacers on the rear to bring them closer to flush with the fender?

If it was my truck and I wanted the look you are after I would just put a set of 15X10 Wheel Vintage Rally wheels on the back with a 4.5" BS and some 275-60-15's on the back and leave the front wheels as they are 8" and put something like a 235-70-15 or similar on the front that way it has a little more aggressive look and stance yet still looks kind of stock.

Yes, I agree with this. Or simply run the 275 tire on the stock rim since it is wide enough.

The stock wheels are plenty wide, it's just those crappy tires that make them look dinky.
