Wheel size and back spacing
My blazer is 4wd. From what I have learned the wheel size on my truck is 6-139.7 or 6-5.5 pattern. What I am confused about is the numerous wheels that are advertized with these dimisions. How do I make sure that it will fit over my hub lockout? And what back spacing do I need. I really not looking at anything really hard I just would like to know incase a good deal comes my way.

For the most part if the wheel is advertised as a truck wheel it should fit. I had 15x10 w/ 4" backspacing white wagon wheels on an 85 K5. Fit no problem.

That's a lot of back spacing.

That does sound like a lot of backspace but then again, I am curious as to how much we can get on the 4x4's. I know at least 4" so I was thinking I'd try to go 4 1/2" unless someone tells me otherwise.
BTW: do you happen to know what the bolt patter for the '72 8 lug 3/4 ton axle is?

Wheel adapters
Has anyone used these? Are they a good way to adjust for back spacing. They offer sizes from 1" to 4"
