Rear Suspension????

K. I want to lower my truck 6 inches in the rear. I want to keep the trailing arms. I have a 383 built and dynoed. It dyno'd at 548 hp at 6300 RPMS and 566 ft lbs. Also I will be installing a anitroll bar, c clip eliminators, and a stronger cover for the 12 bolt. My question is can I run 6" lowering springs from CPP in the stock location? Or do I need to install coil overs. If so where do I mount them? I want to make this thing to hook up! Thanks guys

Re: Rear Suspension????

I have 6 in lower rear springs and no c-notch and have not had a problem. Never hooked with the BFG but now with the MT radials I have no problems. All stock type suspension except for the watts link. Some engine details would be nice. Those numbers seem off for a 383. In another thread you said 648hp. Are those numbers with nos? I could see it with NOS but 548 or 648 from a 383 at those rpm's don't look right N/A.
