Need some advice here

I have a 71 K5 Blazer that I would like to drive again. One of the many issues needing attention is the drivers side front spring hanger bolt hole being wallowed out. I've been looking for a replacement hanger but not having any success. Can someone lead me to a possible source of supply? If I can't find one soon I thought about drilling out the rivets, removing the hanger, filling the wallowed out bolt hole with weld and drilling a new bolt hole. never done it but desire can cause solutions to happen. What would be some other possible remedies? thanks.

I had the same issue. I just left the hanger on the truck, layed down a weld bead on the wallowed out part, and a ran a drill bit through it to round out the hole again. Works great, and only took like 30 minutes.

Wound up with a variation of the proposed fix. Took #8 flat washers and welded them to the outside of the hanger/perch because of a nagging thought whether the weld material would last. I now feel confident that the new bolts won't wear out the hanger/perch.
