Door glass, vent question

There is a gasket that goes on the edge of the vent and the bottom of the glass before it actually goes into the channel. This would hold it into place and keep it come coming out. I can reuse the door glass gasket, but my vent is pretty deteriorated. Where can I get this? I seems to be specific for the vents since it also is the shape of where the handle goes on the vents.

Thanks in advance

It's called glass setting tape, I bought some from a local glass shop.

Re: Door glass, vent question

Thanks guys. Wasn't for sure if there was a specific rubber. My original is the same contour as my original including where it goes next to the vent handle area.

Thanks again

I set my vent windows in silicone sealant. Works just fine. How much longer until you get your truck out and about? (Biff Burger, Quaker Steak and Lube, etc...) I can't wait to see it in person.

Thanks Guys....

@wlevick. Gotta get the bed done. That's a project itself.
I would figure about 3 months or so. From the very get-go I wanted to have the truck rebuilt in a year. I started in late Sept of last year.

Was that your truck I saw at QS last Thursday?

Re: Door glass, vent question

Yes...that was my truck at Quaker Steak on Thursday evening. I have had over 100 cars since I was old enough to drive, but, this was my first truck. About ten years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Since then, I have retired (29 years with Verizon) and "piddle" with old cars as much as I can. I plan to give this truck to my grandson (4 year old) as I probably will not be physically able by the time he is old enough to drive.
In 1965 my dad had a garage (Ralph's Garage) in Daytona Beach. My plan is to have his logo painted on the doors and have it pinstriped. I am also thinking about taking off the rally wheels and replacing them with Cragar SS for that "old school" look.

100 cars and your first truck...wow. Great to hear though.
Your truck looks great in person!
We'll be seeing you soon!
