Thumbs up Found a show truck in Belvidere IL for sale. . . Not Mine!!!

This folks is a real nice truck. This truck is bagged, and has a neat power cover for the bed. It's a 1970 with a 350/700R4. No waves in the body on this one at all. Runs real smooth. He said he has a stack of recepts that total $30,000! He is asking $15,900. Take a look at the pictures, You couldn't build a nice truck like this for that kind of $$$. Enjoy!

The cover looks like a Pace Edwards product. My dad has one on his 2000 Ford Shortbed. It's a piece of crap!!! it's always binding, the locking mechanism is always sticking, and after a month or so, it doesn't roll up worth shiet. They look nice though, really cleans up the outside of the bed.

That truck has the perfect stance to it!! Thanks for the pics !!!

Very sharp truck, but think it's worth the asking $16k? Seems a bit high to me.

As usual, there are 2 sides to every story. I've had a pace edwards roll top installed on a 2000 Silverado since new. Has worked flawlessly and held up nicely. One complaint, is that the lock does stick, though not terribly. Also, if you are in a cold weather/snow climate, they tend to ice up and won't operate freely at times. I guess in Flin Flon thats about 9 months every year!

CLOSE!!! only 8 months of crappy weather Yeah, I'm sure that there are a lot of people that have had good luck with this product, but I am just speaking from personal experience. It's one thing he won't install on his next truck. Maybe it's just the fact that it's a Ford that it doesn't work well
