im new here
hello there, my dad has been on these forums for a while, not sure which name he goes by but most his sn's are 70cst or dewayne....well im really starting to get into helping him restore his truck, its great father son bonding time, we have had our truck for about 2.5 years now, its a 1970 cst C/10 it has all these factory options: 402 BB (we have done alot of work to her, shes got doug thorly headers, lunati cam, elderbrock intake and carb), AC, bucket seats, AM/FM radio, sliding rear window, tilt steering, automatic tranny, its got factory tach and everything...from the papers i have looked at 13% of the trucks this year were made with these options, i could be wrong though, tell me what u think..shes not to rough, no rust holes, just some slight surface rust
the pix are here let me know what u think http://community.webshots.com/user/koolgagt |

Welcome from over here in Washington.
Looks like you have a pretty well optioned out truck. Should be a lot of fun to restore and play with. My dad and I restored my car and it was worth every bit of it so I know you guys will have even more fun.

Welcome aboard Koolgt, I recognize your Dad's user name. Not from this board, but from Wes's.
I have a nine year old that is starting to turn wrenches with me, It's some of the most enjoyable times I've had working on my truck. And my truck has been around my place almost twice as long as he has. Ron |

koolgt, you are a lucky one. My dad wouldn't do jack with me when I was younger.
Enjoy it. Have fun and enjoy the time spent together. It'll build a real relationship instead of one where everything done is out of guilt. |
