60's Chevy Truck Nirvana

I have found a personal stash of 1960's trucks, one 60's suburban and a couple of 1970's trucks. I have purchased two vehicles and the owner is willing to sell the rest. Please feel free to contact me so these treasures don't just rust away anymore. I took a few pictures with my phone to show a little of what I found. I hope someone else is as interested in these as I am.

Re: 60's Chevy Truck Nirvana

Great shots, thanks for posting. The suburban pic looks like an entry in a photo contest. The pickup appears to be a 1962 with a 1960 hood (in remarkable condition), with perhaps the original hood in the bed. A nice example of the rare and elusive big window stepside. There appears to be two more 63-66’s in the stash. Hopefully everything will go to a good home.

Re: 60's Chevy Truck Nirvana

i think the 62 big window stepper is begging to be Delmo-ized. I'm just sayin. That looks like a pretty darn nice truck for having been sittin in a field for a while. I would be willing to bet the owner would let you keep the original hood that's in the trunk as a bonus!

Re: 60's Chevy Truck Nirvana

Obviously I am new to this forum and any help or suggestions will be appreciated. The owner of these truck was somewhat doubtfull that anyone would be interested in them. I have been impressed with the responce and the desire for more info on the trucks. Over the holiday weekend I will get better pictures and more info on them. I work straight graveyards so I usually only get online in the mornings before I go to bed.
