My daughter and wife help me put this on my 85 today. I think it looks great.

Re: New Pics of the Cowl Hood
That looks like it fits good. I have a Goodmark and it fits terrible, I can't get it lined up at all. I'm thinking about pulling it off and putting a stock hood back on, but i really like the look. Yours looks good.

What brand hood is that? How was the installation and fit and finish? It looks like it bolted right on and lined up perfect in the pics very nice look.
Oh and where in the world did you get such a clean truck, I know it didn't come from IL land of RUST!!! lol

Re: New Pics of the Cowl Hood
I price matched this from Steelhoods.com. I bought the hood from Jegs and they matched the price plus shipped it for $60. It is a Key Parts Cowl Hood. It fit pretty good.

Re: New Pics of the Cowl Hood
I really like the looks of that! I have swayed back and forth on putting one on mine. Tim (Christian) didn't have one in stock back when I was getting ready for paint. May have to reconsider now.

Looks good, they look nice on some trucks, but not all. I think it looks good now, and will be even better painted, nice job.

Re: New Pics of the Cowl Hood
Damn I love cowl hoods, been trying to find a used one for my stepper but no luck. I don't feel like spending 320+ tax on a new hood...
