I know that there's a lot of controvery regarding the quality of the filters but I've been using them for 20 plus years with no problems. I change the oil between 3k and 5k and so far 4 of the vehicles I've had that I regularly used the Frams on had well over 200K miles on the engine before I traded them in. If you google you can find more reviews, and it's easy to see why the Fram is generally not well regarded.

EDIT: wanted to add this letter, even the Fram engineers say Fram is not very good.

Yep I called them up and they'll fit fine. Only the intake changes on the Vortecs.

I Used Headman Elite 68608 shorties Talked to headman direct thier guy said they are made for camaro 1st generation small blocks but are a great fit ,they finished down the center of the fram rails nothing hangs low. If I can get a pic up I will
