C-1500 + K-5 = 2wd to 4wd conversion

Hey Guys!
I own a '79 K-5 Cheyenne w/ a sour body & a great runnin '74 GMC Sierra Grande C-1500 w/ an original 454/TH-400 w/ A/C....going to combine the two to end up w/ a '74 GMC 4wd pick-up.

Either during the conversion or after, I'm going w/ a 14-bolt rear out of a C-20. Since it started as a 2wd, shouldn't the shock mounts & all related hardware bolt up?

She's going to start as a mall cruiser for a while, due to not having a transfer case & front driveshaft for a while. Will the 2wd rear two-piece driveshaft work w/ the 4" lift & using the 4wd frame mounts?

Thanks!
Doc
