Awesome CL find

This isn't mine. I wish I was in the north west, only a couple more weeks and I'll be moving there, to bad this truck will already be gone.

Re: Awesome CL find

No worries, it will more than likely still be here.. it must not be that good of a deal as it has been on craigslist for months.. When you get settled in the area, drop by and say hi..

Re: Awesome CL find

I will, I'll be stationed at Fort Lewis, I really want that tailgate off that truck, if it's still for sale I'll see if I can get it when I get up there.

Re: Awesome CL find

I think it will still be available when you get there! trucks(without motors) tend to sit longer. Good luck and thanks for your service. cheers, Pat

Re: Awesome CL find

I looked at it a while ago. Wasn't enough parts there to make it worth it for me. It's of course a leaf spring truck. The rear end appeared to me to be for a car (Lug pattern looked small). The wood has been removed from the bed. Five lug for the front wasn't on it when I was there, actually the driver spindle was completely off it. Had a motor in it but he was planning on pulling it unless more money was included.

Might be worth it for someone but it wasn't what I was looking for.

Re: Awesome CL find

I loved Ft Lewis. Lot of stuff to do, the summers are great...my Apt didn't even have AC and I didn't need it.

Best three years of my life was at Ft. Lewes. I'm returning when I retire.

I love Ft. Lewis too. The running trails are great, and for some reason the tap water tastes like it just came out of a spring.
