Thank you for posting this, I wouldnt say that no one likes the original colors, a lot of members put the trucks back to the original color(s) or use it on later years when converting to 67/68' noses. This is always helpful info to have on the board for all to see/use.

well i figured years now after thousands of those "will a 67 chevy front clip fit 72 gmc truck?" questions go by another rookie will post "original colors for 68 chevy" this will pop up as a link in that thread.

I posted a thread just before this one to see a 506 med blue metallic 67. Google images turned up nothing. The color looks nice and my truck was originally that color inside and out with a matching blue interior. Blue, blue, blue. I'm thinkin I might pull a Restomod look on my truck and if the color looks nice I'd go with it but I'd like to see a truck with nice 506 paint on it. I've been thinkin about Ermine white with a red interior or Silver with red but if I could just see that blue...

hey here's something for you Rick....
mines not in their  mine was a special paint color, it was originally painted what looks like the 50th anniversary gold, and with a white top to. from what i have found looking at paint colors on this site thats what color it looks like to me

i have seriously thought about, and still am thinking about painting it the original colors/color scheme, when it actually comes time to paint it some day. but i will leave everything that is black now black then as well
