will I get in trouble?

If I take pictures of two local trucks that are parked out by the road for sale, then post the pics on here? I'm not selling anything, don't know the sellers so I'm not trying to help them sell the trucks, but I drive by these trucks most every day and I want to share them with you guys.

One's a square headlight fleetside c10, appears to be lowered a little and has I think rallys on it, also has a body kit, nothing outrageous like a tuner car, just a kind of a lower fairing all the way around. Looks nice.

Other's a short step round headlight truck, lowered with Cragar style mags on it. Looks real pretty also.

Re: will I get in trouble?

If their long beds post them in the long bed section, short bed or crew cab- do the same, if your just posting pics it will be ok. Better yet pay the board fee and become a member then you can post anything you want.

The rules state that you can't post items that you are selling unless you are a subscribing member.

You can post pics of trucks for sale as long as they arent your trucks. If you were planning to buy them and wanted advice thats fine too.

Re: will I get in trouble?

I have seen a handful of supposed low mile originals for sale on CL lately for what seems like reasonable prices.
I was thinking about starting a thread about that with pictures and links; I take it that would be OK?

Re: will I get in trouble?

finally got the pics, just put them in the longbed and shortbed pics threads. I was wrong, the stepside has newer 454ss style rims, not cragar ss. guess I'll throw the pics in here too since you're already here. Wish I could have got the longbed in the sun, it's got a metallic paint that really pops in the sunlight.

Re: will I get in trouble?

hey you're right I didn't even look at the bumper. Hate to see what the rear bumper is, I've seen so many mismatches on stepsides, and very few look good. The long bed does look brand new underneath, but I saw a couple things I didn't like. The steering box is painted Chevy orange, the wheels which at first glance look like nice rallys are actually cheap black modulars with trim rings. Dash is all custom gauges, seat is some kind of fancy two-tone high back bucket setup, looks real nice, just not sure it matches. Wants10.5 for it, says there's much more than that in it. Must be motor, or including hourly shop rate or something. I could build a brand new 2wd for half that, except for what a big motor would cost. I do like the body kit though.

Re: will I get in trouble?

If that stepside had the correct sport bumper on it, you wouldn't see it at this angle. Must have something else. But they look in really good condition.

That body kit makes it look like a f150 to me.
