Custom door panels, seats etc.

I have built some pretty trick street rod style door panels for my 70 GMC and think there might be a markety for them. Also, I must admit that I used to do design for a very well-known (and unnamed) builder so they are not just knucklehead in the garage crap.

I am just looking for some feedback on the interest level. Don't give me your email or anything like that, I'm not trying to sapm the board, just gauge interest.

Thanks for your input.

We'd need some pictures of your product in order to give some feedback.

Here is a photo of a set of panels. They are grey tweed, it does not photograph well.

Thanks

More patterns

I have a total of eight different inserts but the ones in the picture are the only ones assembled thus far.

There are also matching inserts for the console.

If those are grey and burgandy they will match my '67 short stepside. Send them to me and I will put them on and take them to the show and shine and get some orders! They will really stand out on my truck since they will be the only finished item on it...LOL!

Seriously...they look great...I am sure you would find a ready market for them.

If you could be competetive price-wise with roddoors.com, I'd have an interest.

Door & Window

THe holes for the door and window cranks are in the hard portion of the panel, I just have not cut the upholstery for access. This set has the insert right over wher the window crank goes as I buil it for my truck which has power windows.

Price

I am not sure - I think they might go for around $150 and a little extra for the carpet kick panels. I think I can also build a panel that would cover the entire door rather than separate door panel/kick panel pieces.

If I start selling them I would offer complete matching interiors (panels, upholstery, carpet kits) or parts on an ala-carte basis.

I am looking for the whole kit. I want the door panels to go over the entire door, Carpet , I would like to get that so it goes up to the back window, and material so I can do the rest of the cab.
