horn wiring on a 71 c10 long bed

i search the forum but could couldnt find anything on a horn wiring diagram, i did see the wiring diagram in the elec section for our trucks but didnt really help. it looks like the wires are running to the horn and in to the cab bu i have no wire coming out of the steering column. it looks like the steering column was replaced and they didnt put the wire back in. also is there an adjustment for the column shifter on the column to tighten it up? we check the linkage by the tranny and tighten things up down there but still seems to be sloppy cuz the pointer on the column that shows you what gear your in dont really line up when your in drive or reverse or park

The horn wire is the black wire in the ribbon in the column.

If you are missing the horn wire just run a new one from the horn contact down to the horn relay.

On my '72, the rectangular horn relay is mounted to the left of the steering column, above and to the right of the fuse panel. It has a 3-prong connector.

If what you are looking at actually plugs into the fuse panel, it's probably the turn signal flasher.
