Need some info PLEASE

I NEED TO GET THE PROPER FAN SHROUD I AM FIGHTING OVER HEATING ISSUES
SO I WANT TO START HERE FIRST
MY JIMMY HAD A BIG BLOCK IN IT ( IF MEMORY SERVES A BIG BLOCK IS LONGER THAN A SMALL BLOCK)
IT NOW HAS A 350 IN IT AND MY FAN HAD TO BE SPACED OUT APPROX 8 INCHES JUST TO GET IT IN THE SHROUD
MY NEW SHROUD MEASURES APPROX 4 1/2" DEEP
CAN SOMEBODY MEASURE THEIR SHROUD FOR A SMALL BLOCK AND LET ME KNOW
I WENT TO THE JUNKYARD YESTERDAY AND EVIDENTLY THAT PART IS IN HIGH DEMAND COULDNT FIND A SINGLE ONE
SO I AM WILLING TO ORDER A NEW ONE JUST WANT A DEEPER ONE
THANKS MUCH

Re: Need some info PLEASE

That looks like the correct 4x4 fan shroud. If your jimmy is a 4x4, it never came stock with a big block.
If you order that shroud, you should be OK.

Big blocks are different than 4x4.

Get Rid of that lousy flex fan! You need the correct GM heavy duty clutch fan unit. Not cheap, but if your radiator is in good shape, your overheating issues will be gone.
