I've seen what is being called Ram Air IV Pontiacs with D ports, I've seen mistakes made with correct striping on cars, jacked up emblem placement, and etc. on cars that supposed to be documented and being represented as correct. It would be in anybody's best interest to still verify whether a car or truck is what it is supposed to be even if its at BJ.
Nothing gets me more than seeing emblems in the wrong places, even on newer cars that have been fixed by body shops. If you don't know where they go id rather see them left off.

Barrett-Jackson is where you go when you have more expendable cash than knowledge of vehicles. Many buyers are collector car hobby "buy-ins" who will believe whatever an "expert" tells them. "Expert" being anyone who "sounds like" they know their stuff.
