Re: possible new owner of a 62 or 63 c10 - should i do it (value?)

i dont think its a big window unfortunately. wish it was but it seems pretty "normal" sized to me lol. that part was never really factored into my wish list - obv if it makes the truck more valuable then i'd love it as a bonus but as long as i can see out the rear view mirror i am happy!

I think that you are making a lot of fuss over nothing. if you think that it is to much don't buy it. there are a lot of other trucks out there in your budget range which will suit you right on. you just want a truck for the dump and a few other things.
either it is worth that for you or it is not.

you can see the rear cab window in the 1962 picture. if its that size, it is not a big window. if it is as wide as the seat, it is a big window. from the picture of the 63 it looks like a big window but to quote TJ, "I have been fooled before".

Thats a pretty decent price, I recently traded my '64 long box fleet side big back window for $1,200 running and driving but it had a straight six - three on the floor and the rockers were almost gone totally, although wasn't a total rust bucket. Only mods were lowered all the way around, BTW nice bikes I have a slabside shovel rigid chopper and a '00 FXDX
