Here was one little guy who peddled his ride for the whole 1/2 mile of the Parade. Yes Liz ,,small parades are more personal and a lot of fun..

Growing up in NY, they were few and far between.

The little town next to us has a huge week long 4th celebration. Its amazing how many people you can squish into such a small area at once What I loved about the "small town America" type parade was the respect. There were several different entries in the parade of military veterans, mia/pow, pow biker, vet home, etc.. EVERY time one went by, the crowd stood up, and saluted, clapped and cheered. That respect is something you rarely see anymore. Made me love our small town area that much more.

That's cool. I remember riding my bike in a parade when I was 5 just because I thought that's what you did and somebody decided to let me. Streamers in the wheels and all

My boy would have probably taken the John Deer pedal tractor class if there was a show:

Are any of the tractors on the trailer like your sons ? I talked to the guy who owns all these little John Deere's and he told me that he has been collecting these for some years now ..

Thats why they were on a trailer and not being rode down the streets , beings they were collector tractors..
