Question help grantwheel/tilt colum

i'm having problems with the install kit i have and i think its the wrong one.
3163 is the one they say but i think that is wrong, thats what i'm trying to use.but it won't go down far enough, it has like a 1/4 inch gap at the base were the cover is.

which install kit have you guys used on the tilt colums?

Yep, you got the wrong one. I have a 70 also and I had to take mine back to get the correct one. The correct one fits like a glove!. The horn kit still sucks, ask barn9,lol

Grant calls for 3163 but I used 3162. Maybe my column was pulled out of a different year but it worked perfectly. Try both, theres only 2 choices!
